Arm Covers

Ardtus silicone arm covers were developed to replace PVC gloves, offering a more realistic and durable solution. Compared to PVC gloves, Ardtus covers maintain their appearance longer, as silicone doesn't absorb dirt as quickly, making them especially convenient for activities like reading the newspaper.

Ardtus arm covers are available for lower arm prostheses, upper arm prostheses, and prostheses with shoulder caps.

Here's what an Ardtus arm cover provides:

  • Gives your arm prosthesis a lifelike appearance.

  • Enhances your personal presentation.

  • Requires easy maintenance.

  • Features positionable fingers for grasping objects.

  • Can be securely waterproofed to your existing prosthesis.

Helpful Tips

Oil-free lotion

Putting on your prosthesis is easier with a small amount of oil-free or fat-free body lotion. When removing it, allow some air to flow between your skin and the prosthesis for added ease.

Soap

Regularly clean your cover with water and a small amount of mild soap, incorporating it into your daily routine. For instance, wash your prosthetic hand when you wash your own hand. In cases of severe soiling, the cover can be boiled for cleaning. If you have any questions or need advice, please don't hesitate to contact Ardtus.

Customisation

Adding nail polish or decorations to the nails of your silicone arm cover or wearing a bracelet or watch can enhance its realism, making it virtually unnoticeable.

Tattoo

Personalize your silicone cover further by applying a small tattoo to your prosthetic arm.
